Although these images may look all too familiar, the City of
Sylvania maintains over 73.5 miles of streets and bridges and resurfaces
4-5 miles per year. In addition the Division of Streets will have other repair
and improvement projects underway. The Utilities Division will have water main and
sewer line construction and maintenance projects as well. We would like to keep a construction schedule posted here so that you know what to expect. However, there will be some unscheduled projects due to emergency repair. We realize these projects are inconvenient and will cause you some delay, but these projects are essential in maintaining the City's streets and bridges. Being informed will help you plan alternate routes and minimize these delays.

ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE - June 20, 2007
SYLVANIA AVENUE, between King Road and McCord Road will be closed to through traffic for two days on WEDNESDAY, JUNE 27 and THURSDAY, JUNE 28 for sewer repairs.
The construction site is approximately 300' west of McCord Road. Access to Olander Park, Tam O’Shanter, Southview High School and the Sylvania Senior Center will be from the west (King Road) end.
The detour route will be King Road, Brint Road and McCord Road.
