1.         Roll call.

 

2.         Pledge of Allegiance to the United States of America led by Mayor Stough.

 

3.         Additions to the agenda.

 

4.         Approval of the February 6 meeting minutes.

 

5.         Presentation of framed Resolution 2-2006 to Gene Paul.

 

6.         A representative from the Board of Elections will explain the trouble-shooter program to be initiated at the polls on the May 2 election.

 

7.         Third Reading and final passage of proposed Ordinance 1-2006, amending the sign code.

 

8.         Proposed Ordinance 6-2006, granting the special use permit for Kroger Co. to construct a fuel center at 6235 Monroe Street.

 

9.         Zoning ordinance amendment petition no. SUP-1-2006, to allow a recreational facility at 3618 King Road;

a.  Planning Commission’s recommendation; and,

b.  Set the public hearing date and authorize the clerk to advertise for same.  The earliest

     hearing date is April 3.

 

10.       Zoning ordinance amendment petition no. SUP-2-2006 (amended ZA-1-2006), to allow for the construction of a long term acute care hospital on property located at 5200 and 5430 Alexis Road;

a.  Planning Commission’s recommendation; and,

b.  Set the public hearing date and authorize the clerk to advertise for same.  The earliest

     hearing date is April 3.

 

11.       Confirmation of Mayor Stough’s appointment of Roger Barnes to the Sylvania Tree Commission.

 

12.       Confirmation of Mayor Stough’s appointment of Marc Beightol to the Sylvania Youth Conservation Corps.

 

13.       Set a Committee-of-the-Whole meeting for Tuesday, February 28, 7:00 p.m. at the Sylvania Senior Center.  Council will attend the meeting to hear the report of the Sylvania Township Fire/EMS Policy Advisory Board.
