Educational programs allow school children a unique glimpse at the area's history.

Education programs are designed to aid educators in teaching social studies, primarily from second through fifth grades.  Our programs are based on early Ohio, the Underground Railroad and the One Room School.  The classes and activities focus on strands from the Ohio proficiency tests using interactive and hands-on activities.  Programs are also available to scout troops and private organizations.

A unique "Traveling Suitcase" is available for weekly rental.  Intended for teachers, the suitcase includes original and reproduction items, activities and resource materials.
