The Division of Engineering manages the design and construction for all capital improvement projects that occur within the public right-of-way or on city-owned property. Engineering also conducts site plan reviews and is the record keeper for archived documents on past projects.
Online Bidding Process
Effective January 2025, we are moving our bidding process online to Bid Express: https://www.bidexpress.com/businesses/87307/home
To access City of Sylvania Projects through the electronic bidding service, you must first register at www.bidexpress.com by clicking on the “Register” button and following the instructions. In order to bid, you must create and enable a Digital ID within the service. This process requires the submission of notarized paperwork and may take up to ten business days to complete. There are no fees to register, create and enable a digital ID, or to download bid documents. There is a small expense on a monthly or per bid basis to submit a bid.
